What to Put on a Public Hub Page
The job of the page
A public hub page has one job: help a person who already found you take the next step. It is not a brochure, a resume, and a store at the same time. If everything is a button, nothing is.
Decide the next step before you design anything. For most appointment businesses it is "book" or "request a time." For a creator it might be "read this" or "join the list." One primary step.
Put these on the page
- Your name and what you do, in one sentence a stranger understands
- The city or service area. "Available in [area]" beats a vague luxury tagline
- One primary button to the next step
- Your hours or a line that says how booking works ("evenings, deposit required")
- A way to recognize you: a real photo, not a logo only
- The policy link if you take appointments, even a short one
Leave these off until the page converts
- Every social network you have ever opened
- Three competing "book now" buttons that go to different tools
- A price list with no times
- Testimonials you cannot stand behind
- A popup that fires before the person can see the primary button
Extra links are fine under the primary button. They should not outrank it.
Write the first screen out loud
Read the top of the page as if you are texting a friend who asked what you do. If you would not say "luxury ecosystem gateway" out loud, do not lead with it. "Mobile cuts in Orlando. Deposit holds your time." is a first screen. The brand line can sit underneath.
Check it like a stranger
Open the page on your phone with the address you would actually share. Time yourself. You should know what to tap in five seconds. If you cannot, remove a block and try again.
Then send the link to one real client and ask what they thought the page wanted them to do. If they name a different action than you intended, the page is wrong, not the client.
PerezHub pages are built for this job: one public link, your buttons, and a booking path. Create one after you have written the sentence and the primary step. The checklist still applies if you use another tool.
